Are Hemp & Cannabis Alkaline? And What Are The Differences?

We here at alkalineorganics.com are committed to giving you the most comprehensive information on everything you need to know about the alkaline diet and the different acidity and basicity of foods.

The cbd industry has always been a big topic of debate within our community. For years cbd users have confirmed the therapeautic effects of cbd but recently as last month the FDA has revoked it’s approvWeal for cbd products that are added to a food or labeled as a dietary supplement and went as far as making it illegal. Read More About It Here.

To Clarify: We are not here to debate nor touch on either the legality or morality of Hemp and Cannabis use. There is no particular product or brand we currently recommend or sponsor. We decided it was important to provide this information because this is a hot topic and a lot of the frequently asked question from our followers are about this subject.

1.) Sister Plants.

Simply put hemp and Cannabis are sibling species. Hemp is considered as any cannabis strain with under .03% THC and Marijuana are cannabis strains with substantially more % in THC (up to 15%)

THC is known as the psychoactive ingredient that produces euphoria and pain suppression. Evidence has shown that high enough doses of this molecule can help destroy cancer cells by interfering with its metabolism. Read More About It Here.

There is general consensus amongst both holistic healers and medical professionals alike, that changing  patient’s diet is extremely helpful when someone is confronted with a cancer diagnosis.

Patients around the world have documented on their blogs and on YouTube using a high dose of cannabis oil made from medical grade alcohol extraction at a rate of 1 gram per day for a 60-90 day period in conjunction with a life-long alkaline diet to reduce their tumor size in not only skin cancer but numerous other types of cancer as well.

CBD is the main non-psychoactive cannanoid and can be made from both hemp and marijuana strains. It is also known for its own therapeautic and healing effects separate from  what THC  provides.

Their differences can be found here.

The problem with the CBD industry is that it has fallen victim to the same predatory corporate tactics as the olive oil industry.  Majority of the CBD oil is unregulated and untested and because of that there is a lot of fake or “mixed” product and it’s hard for the consumer to tell the difference between high quality and low quality.

CBS News covered these unethical business practices in the olive oil industry and even featured it on 60 minutes!

It’s important to note that the CBD molecule from Hemp is the same as the CBD molecule from marijuana.

2.) Going “Full Spectrum”

We believe hemp consumption is by far the most ideal solution for everyday health that is safe to recommend to anyone and is federally legal. You can incorporate hemp into your daily diet and health regimen through Hemp Teas, Hemp Oil, Hemp Seeds and even Hemp Protein Powder!

Hemp is high in fiber, protein and essential unsaturated fatty acids including omega 3’s and 6’s, even chlorophyll and is extremely healthy for the heart and arteries.

3.) What did Dr. Sebi say?

Dr. Sebi not only used the cannabis in people's medicine, he also smoked cannabis recreationally and did not ever express concern for its carcinogens.

When asked is there such thing as smoking too much marijuana on "LA Talk Live" Radio on a show called "Catching Up with Rho" by Rhona "Rho" Bonette Dr. Sebi said in response “I am 80 of age, I have been smoking marijuana ever since I was 14 so I don’t believe I am a good candidate to answer that question."

When Rho responded “I feel you’re a great candidate especially if you’re helping people heal of disease and different healers might say smoking too much may cause adverse effects on the body."

Dr Sebi jokingly remarked back "I’ve only been smoking it for 66 years, so I think I need more time." And began referencing the book called "Medicinal Herbs of Ecuador", in the book he said it showed to cure 20+ diseases including, Parkinson’s and epilepsy

The acidity of the body is one of the causes of several diseases. Even Dr. Otto Heinrich Warburg - the winner of the Nobel Prize for the discovery of the prime causes of cancer - proclaimed: "Without acidity there is no disease, no cancer."
